MelisTravel: Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

I recently went on the most amazing trip to the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino for a “happy” wellness retreat and I absolutely loved it. I had only been to Aruba as a young girl on a cruise stop – and couldn’t wait to get back to the island and experience it over a few days with my dream itinerary!

On the first day I checked into my room and was completely blown away by the BEAUTIFUL accommodations and view of the Aruba turquoise water. The rooms are so clean, bright, and spacious – I couldn’t believe this would be home for the next few days. After a delicious sushi dinner in the lobby, I got an early night’s rest for my first day on the island!

Our first stop of the day was at the Aruba Aloe Farm, Museum & Factory. This was truly a one-of-a kind experience and I learned so much (and of course picked up some amazing Aloe products!) Aloe is one of the main exports of Aruba, so it was really cool to start the trip off with some history! Once back at the resort I had delicious fish tacos from Waves Beach Bar & Grill. I have to say that the food at the Marriott exceeded my expectations – I couldn’t stop eating (Lol!) After lunch we headed out for a catamaran snorkel tour with the incredible De Palm Tours!! Aruba has some the most beautiful ocean, and to be out on the boat exploring felt like a dream!

The next day started off with the most beautiful beach walk with our happiness host! The island of Aruba has so much history and it is so cool to learn more about it while walking down the white sandy shorelines. I felt so relaxed and at peace – I wish I could wake up every morning to that beach walk. After the beach we stopped for the most delicious Pitaya bowls at Eduardo’s before a fun beach tennis lesson. It’s amazing how many great activities are right around the Marriott Resort!

One of the highlights of the trip was later that afternoon when we had a private cooking lesson with the executive chef at the La Vista restaurant at the resort. We made healthy quick options – and then of course got to eat everything!! We ended the night with the most beautiful sunset and dinner right on the beach, it was magical!

Before heading back home the next day – we had a SUP yoga class in the morning. I hadn’t done a full SUP yoga class in a long time and absolutely loved it! It felt so good to stretch and hear the ocean before I sadly had to head home.

My visit to Aruba was absolutely amazing!! I truly can’t wait to go back and am dreaming about being back at the Marriott ASAP. The resort is one of my favorite places in the world!
